Michael Johnson is a name synonymous with speed, agility, and athletic excellence and is renowned by many for his outstanding running career. Johnson made his winning debut at the 1992 Olympics and went on to win a further 3 Golds in 1996 and 2000. He is the only male to win both the 200 and 400 meters at the same Olympics in 1996 and go on to defend his Olympic title for the 400 meters in 2000. His incredible speed, a distinctive upright running style, enabled him to hold world records in the 200 meters and 400 meters for over a decade. Now, retired, Johnson regularly commentates for the BBC in the United Kingdom and has been a part of the Olympic athletics coverage since 2004.

Johnson will headline the Road & Marathon Stage on Sunday January 28th at 10.30am and will offer 45mins of his time to share highlights from his illustrious career.
