Six runners will attempt to set a new London-to-Paris benchmark, taking on the 210-mile route in under 36 hours in the upcoming Saucony Endorphin Speed 6
London, UK – 6th October 2026: Six runners. 210 miles. 36 hours. This October, Saucony is going Off Record, bringing together a team of six runners to take on an ambitious relay from its London store to the site of its new store in Paris, connecting the two cities through running.
Setting off from the Saucony Covent Garden store at 11pm on Thursday 15 October, the six-person team will run approximately 210 miles in relay, travelling through the night from London to Newhaven before crossing the Channel and continuing through France towards Paris. The goal is simple: reach Paris within 36 hours.
The clock will be running from the moment the team leaves London, with a live GPS tracker logging their progress and verified duration as the six runners attempt to complete the journey in under 36 hours and establish a new benchmark for London to Paris.
But Off Record is ultimately about the people behind the miles. Since July, Saucony has followed the six runners through months of training, documenting the individual stories, relationships and experiences behind an endurance challenge of this scale – bringing the brand’s Run As One belief to life through one shared journey.
Preparing six runners to take on 210 miles has required months of training, coaching and planning. Unsanctioned Athletics, Saucony’s strategic operations partner for Off Record, has supported the route planning, reconnaissance and safety behind the challenge, with Pursuit Performance preparing the athletes with individualised coaching and physiotherapy.
MEET THE SIX
Taking on Off Record are Freeman Williams, Lorraine Schaefer Pérez, Maud Merite, Raul Wilmott, Darren Chidas and Kya Hammerton – six runners bringing different backgrounds, experiences and relationships with the sport to one shared challenge.
From former track athletes and competitive swimmers to runners who discovered the sport more recently through run clubs and community, the team has spent the past few months training together and preparing for the demands of the London-to-Paris route.
For Maud, who is French and now based in London, the route connects the two cities she has called home, while Kya, a dialysis nurse and 3:16 marathoner, sums up the collective spirit behind the challenge: “We’re all different people with different journeys, but we’ve come together to Run As One.”
SIX RUNNERS. 36 HOURS. ONE SHOE.
Throughout the challenge, all six runners will wear the soon-to-launch Saucony Endorphin Speed 6, putting the latest generation of Saucony’s award winning speed-focused franchise at the heart of the 36-hour journey.
Built for superior performance for speed work and race days, the Endorphin Speed 6 features new advanced cushioning and a newly designed nylon plate.
Florian Sievers, Senior Director Marketing, Saucony EMEA said: “Off Record is about seeing what can happen when six runners come together around one ambitious goal. Running from London to Paris in 36 hours is a huge physical and mental challenge, but the story for us is just as much about everything that goes into getting there.
“We’ve followed this team since July as they’ve trained, developed and learned how to work together. Through months of training and coaching, we’ve seen six individuals grow into a really close-knit team, supporting and pushing each other towards one shared goal. Now they have 210 miles ahead of them, wearing the Endorphin Speed 6, and we can’t wait to see what they can achieve together.”
The full journey will be documented, beginning with the campaign trailer and followed by a six-part content series telling the story of the runners before and after the challenge.
