Run Wisborough is back for 2024, and the date for this popular running event has now been announced.
Held in the picturesque village of Wisborough Green, there are two events for runners to choose from, covering a distance of 5K or 10K. Starting and finishing on the village green, the 5K circuit (which is repeated for the 10K event) runs through the country lanes of the beautiful West Sussex village. The accessible nature of the course means there are plenty of spectators every step of the way to cheer on contestants and keep runners motivated.
Taking place on Sunday 9th June 2024, the chip-timed, multi-terrain race welcomes fun runners and serious competitors from across the South East, and entrants are now being encouraged to secure their place and take part.
For children aged between 4 and 11, there will be a chance to get involved by joining the Kids’ Colour Run – children who wish to take part can simply sign up on the day.
Excellent on-site facilities, including parking, toilets and sports massage, will be available to visitors. There will also be a variety of refreshments on offer throughout the day, including tea, coffee, bacon rolls and a barbecue serving burgers and hot dogs.
Quality medals and other goodies will be awarded to race finishers, and there will also be a chance to win prizes in a range of categories for both the 5K and 10K events.

Whether you’re running, cheering on from the sidelines or helping out, it’s great fun for all those taking part. This is the 6th year we have been hosting Run Wisborough, and this year promises to be the best yet. We are looking forward to welcoming runners of all abilities from across the county and beyond!”
To take part in Run Wisborough, runners can register in advance via the website https://runwisborough.co.uk/#enter or turn up and pay on the day. Those registering in advance will benefit from a reduced entry fee of £15.00 affiliated or £16.00 unaffiliated for the 5K event (£17.00 on the day) or £19.00 affiliated or £21.00 unaffiliated for the 10K event (£23.00 on the day). Entrants must be at least 11 years old to participate in the 5K event or 15 years old to participate in the 10K event. The Kids Colour Run is free to children aged 11 and under.
