JETSET Pilates to open debut UK studio in Shoreditch as global expansion accelerates

JETSET Pilates, the modern reformer Pilates concept with more than 385 studios open or in development globally, will open its first UK studio in Shoreditch in mid-July. This marks the brand’s formal entry into the London market.

Located at 3 Nicholls Clarke Yard, the Shoreditch flagship will be the first in a planned series of London sites. Further outposts will be announced across the capital in the months following launch. The brand enters a market where demand for a boutique reformer Pilates studio continues to outpace supply, particularly across central and East London.

Founded in Miami in 2010, JETSET has scaled rapidly following the launch of its franchise model in 2022. It became one of the fastest-growing boutique fitness concepts across the US and Australia. The signature 50-minute class is built around spring-based resistance training on custom-engineered reformers. It combines slow, controlled movement with dynamic sequencing and curated music. The format is designed to build strength and muscular endurance rather than trade on aesthetics alone. This distinction has driven its rapid international footprint.

Bert Albertse, CEO of JETSET Pilates says: “The pace of JETSET’s growth reflects a clear shift in what clients are looking for. There is an increasing demand for reformer classes that deliver consistent, measurable results. The UK has been a priority market for some time, and London is a natural starting point. Shoreditch is the first of several sites we have lined up across the capital, and we will continue to expand at pace.”

The Shoreditch studio will offer the brand’s full class roster, including the signature JETSETter™ Reformer class. It will also offer JETSET Fundamentals for those new to the format, and targeted JETSET Upper + Core and Lower + Core sessions. All classes follow a structured progression model. This is designed to build strength, control and endurance over time.

JETSET’s UK arrival comes at a point when reformer Pilates has shifted from niche to mainstream in Britain, with waitlists at established London studios regularly running into the hundreds. JETSET enters with an established international footprint, a proven franchise model, and a clear focus on scalable growth.

Tamara Galinsky, Founder of JETSET Pilates says: London is where I first discovered modern Pilates and saw the opportunity to reimagine the experience. Bringing JETSET back to this city feels incredibly full circle. It’s where the inspiration began and now it’s where we return with a fully realised vision.”

Following its London launch, the brand plans to expand into additional UK cities from 2027.

Memberships, class packs and intro offers for the Shoreditch studio will be available to book from May. For further information, visit jetsetpilates.co.uk.
