adidas and Belgian streetwear label Arte Antwerp have unveiled the third instalment of their autumn/winter 2026 collaboration, turning their attention to outerwear, winter layering and the culture surrounding football. The collection is set to launch worldwide on 15 October 2026, both in stores and online.
The latest drop builds on a season-long collaboration inspired by the communities and shared rituals around the sport, from journeys to away matches to gatherings outside stadiums in cold weather. The emphasis is on versatile pieces that bridge functional winter clothing and contemporary streetwear.
Modular winter layering
A 2-in-1 puffer jacket is a centrepiece of the collection. Offered in off-white and khaki, it combines a detachable translucent shell with a contrasting insulated inner jacket. The two components can be worn together or separately to adapt to different conditions.
A black-and-white detachable long-sleeve jersey takes inspiration from South Africa’s 2002 national-team kit. Its relaxed silhouette and removable outer layer create several styling options, including pairing it with wide-leg cargo trousers.
GSG9 footwear and merino accessories
The adidas x Arte GSG9 footwear draws on functional tooling and combines a full-leather upper with a double rubber mudguard, hiking-inspired details and asymmetric metal eyelets.
For colder days, the partners have introduced a 100% merino wool beanie, balaclava and statement scarf. The scarf references a vintage Belgian national-team fan design, linking the collaboration to Arte Antwerp’s roots. A convertible helmet bag that changes from a crossbody pouch into a backpack completes the range.
What the launch means for sports retailers
Although this is a football-culture and lifestyle-focused collection rather than a technical running range, its emphasis on modular layering, versatile accessories and brand storytelling illustrates how performance brands are extending their appeal beyond participation sport. For specialist running retailers, it offers a useful example of how winter product categories can be presented through community and everyday wear as well as technical performance.
