Charlotte Pizzo joins forces with On, aiming at Paris 2024 Olympics

French 800m specialist Charlotte Pizzo counts on On in the lead-up to her “home” Olympics in Paris in 2024.

The 2019 and 2020 French indoor national title holder is the latest addition to On’s growing roster of track athletes.

Pizzo, who lives and trains in Fontainebleau, has eleven national podiums, two national titles in 800m indoor, a runner-up title at the 2021 French outdoor championships, and a Junior national record in 1500m indoor. She recorded her current 800 m personal best in Marseille in 2021 when she finished in 2’00”86.

Next to spending time with family and friends and shopping, running has always been a passion for the 25-year-old: “I can’t remember a time without it. I do remember watching the World Athletics Championships in Paris on TV and thinking, ‘I want to do that. I want to be the strongest!’. That was in 2003, and I was six years old.

“My goal for the 2023 competition season is to participate in the Indoor European Championships in March and to qualify for the World Athletics Championships in Budapest in summer. I am aiming to run the 800m in under two minutes this year.

“I am so happy to be supported by On on my path. It is a growing brand with a lot of potential. I already feel a lot of trust towards me and look forward to tackling my goals together with On.”

Niklas Bühner, Athlete Partnership Manager at On, said: “We are excited to add a talented athlete like Charlotte to our ever growing stable of French Elite runners.

“Charlotte has impressed us with her great performances in the last years and we are looking forward in assisting her towards her ambitions for her Home Olympic Games in 2024.”
