Running-footwear brand On is taking its performance design experience into a different type of endurance challenge through a new Fall/Winter 2026 collection with Sky High Goods. The range is developed and field-tested with real farmers rather than competitive runners.
The collaboration focuses on the physical demands of working outdoors, drawing links between the repeated lifting, pushing, pulling and sustained effort familiar in agriculture and athletic training.
A new waterproof silhouette
At the centre of the collection is the Cloud Low WP SHG, a waterproof low-cut shoe developed from On’s Cloud Hi tooling. It uses Missiongrip outsole technology to provide traction and stability on wet and uneven ground, with distinctive strawberry and moon graphics associated with Sky High Goods.
The new shoe will be offered in Black | Black and Date | Torchwood. Although inspired by On’s broader performance footwear expertise, this is a workwear design, not a running shoe.
Technical clothing for life on the move
The collection also features durable utility pieces and breathable layers: a vest, trousers and hoodie with functional pockets, plus long johns, a waffle tee, balaclava and a Farming graphic tee. The design brief emphasises movement, warmth and everyday practicality.
Its “Farm Strong” campaign, photographed by Jack Davison in the British countryside, presents the farm as a space of sustained physical effort. The project was developed alongside farmers connected to Sky High Farm, the nonprofit whose food-equity mission is supported by Sky High Goods.
For the running sector, the launch is an example of performance-footwear technology being applied beyond sport, rather than a new addition to On’s running-shoe line-up.
