Precision Fuel & Hydration build on success of partnership since 2024 to help keep IRONMAN athletes hydrated as on-course hydration at all global IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races in 2026

IRONMAN, the global leader in triathlon, and Precision Fuel & Hydration (PF&H) today announced that Precision Fuel & Hydration have become the Official Hydration Partner of the IRONMAN® and IRONMAN® 70.3® global triathlon series beginning in 2026.

The expanded partnership, which builds on PF&H’s role across Europe, Oceania, and South Africa in 2025, extends to North America. They were most recently named the title partner for this year’s IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship event in Marbella. Now, their partnership includes all IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in North America. Starting in 2026, PF&H’s popular PH 1000 electrolyte drink will be available on-course at IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 triathlons worldwide. This includes the 2026 IRONMAN World Championship® race in Kona, Hawai’i and the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship race in Nice, France.

PH 1000 is specifically formulated to help athletes manage two of the “Three Levers” of endurance sports nutrition, fluid and sodium. Carbohydrates are provided by energy products from on-course fuelling partner Maurten. This “decoupling” of fuelling and hydration has been praised by elite and amateur athletes alike. It provides flexibility during longer endurance events.

The low-calorie PH 1000 delivers 1,000 milligrams of sodium per litre, around twice the sodium of a typical sports drink. PF&H know from conducting thousands of Sweat Tests on athletes that the average athlete loses ~950mg of sodium per litre of sweat. This makes PH 1000 the ideal strength electrolyte drink to put out on course. Informed Sport Certified and with a mild citrus flavour to minimize flavour fatigue, PH 1000 is a staple product in PF&H’s multi-strength hydration range. This range allows athletes to personalize their strategy based on their individual sweat profile.

PF&H’s products and services are trusted by a long list of elite triathletes, including IRONMAN World Champion Solveig Løvseth and 2 x IRONMAN 70.3 Champion Jelle Geens. “Knowing PH 1000 is available on course at any IRONMAN event I do next year gives me even more confidence. I’ll be able to perform at my best at these races!”.

Jonny Tye, co-founder of Precision Fuel & Hydration commented: “Triathlon is a key part of our DNA, with my business partner Andy racing Kona back in 2004 and many of our team having completed an IRONMAN race. We love being part of the community and are so pleased to have become a Global Partner of the IRONMAN brand. We are committed to having fun whilst helping athletes perform at their best and have some big plans for the 2026 season!”.

Yanni Andreopoulos, Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships at The IRONMAN Group said: “Our partnership with Precision Fuel & Hydration has already delivered tremendous value to athletes on site at our events in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. We’ve seen first-hand how their science-driven approach enhances the race experience. Expanding this partnership globally is a natural progression, ensuring consistency and quality at every IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 event. Together, we’re committed to giving athletes the tools they need to perform at their best, wherever they choose to race.”

In addition to providing on-course hydration, all IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events will be included on PF&H’s free Hydration Planner. This is an online tool that gives athletes personalized guidance for race-day hydration. Athletes can also access free video consultations with PF&H’s Athlete Support team ahead of race day.
