Kullamannen by UTMB 2026 to welcome more than 2,750 runners from nearly 60 countries

Sweden’s west coast will welcome more than 2,750 runners from nearly 60 countries for Kullamannen by UTMB on 30–31 October 2026. Across four race distances, 45% of entrants will travel from outside Sweden, underlining the event’s growing international reach.

The 2026 edition will feature a fully nighttime start for the 22km North Shore race, bringing runners into the darkness and coastal terrain central to Kullamannen’s identity. More than 50 elite athletes are expected, with elite registrations up 67% compared with 2025.

Four race distances

The programme includes the Ultra 100 Miles (173km), Sprint Ultra 100K (108km), Seventh Seal (53km) and North Shore (22km). Kids races take place in Höganäs on 30 October and Båstad on 31 October, while a charity Legacy Run is scheduled for 24 October.

International elite field

Returning competitors include France’s Alexandre Boucheix, runner-up in the 2025 men’s Ultra 100 Miles, and Finland’s Eevi Bengs, who placed third in the women’s event last year. Other names include Juuso Simpanen, William Englund, Gemma Hillier Moses, Joseph Turner, Jacob Adkin and Kirsty Skye Dickson.

The race routes combine rocky coastal viewpoints, forest trails, beaches and late-autumn conditions. The organisers will also host a sport and health networking meetup with Minds in Motion at Hotel Skansen in Båstad on 30 October.
