Seven days to go: IRX 2026 enters final countdown in Amsterdam

With just seven days remaining until the International Running Expo (IRX) opens at RAI Amsterdam, the running industry is entering the final stage of preparations for one of its key business gatherings of the year.

Taking place on 4–5 November 2026, IRX will bring together brands, retailers, distributors and other industry professionals for two days focused on product discovery, networking, business development and the latest ideas shaping the running market.

More than 200 brands and 1,500 products

This year’s event will feature more than 200 international brands, with over 1,500 products due to be showcased across footwear, apparel, technology, nutrition, accessories and recovery.

For retailers and buyers, the show provides an opportunity to compare products in person, meet brand teams directly and explore new commercial relationships. For brands, it offers access to a concentrated audience of running-industry decision-makers and potential partners from across Europe and beyond.

Running industry speakers and live experiences

The programme will also feature athletes, experts and industry voices, with organisers highlighting Olympic champion Allyson Felix, world champion Dafne Schippers and Olympic triathlon champion Alex Yee among the names appearing across the event.

Alongside the business programme, visitors will be able to take part in a range of live experiences, including the Running Track, Speed & Skills Lab, SCOTT & Midnight Runners Mystery Line Run, Runners High – Follow the Beat and the Wellbeing & Recovery Lounge.

One ticket for IRX and ISPO

IRX is co-located with ISPO at RAI Amsterdam, with one ticket providing access to both events. That gives running-industry visitors the chance to explore adjacent sports and outdoor markets, while also expanding the number of potential contacts and commercial conversations available during the trip.

Advance tickets are priced at €99, compared with €120 for onsite registration, a saving of €21 for visitors who book before arriving.

Final preparations before Amsterdam

With the event now just one week away, the remaining days are likely to be focused on meeting schedules, product priorities and deciding which sessions and experiences to attend.

For the running trade, IRX offers a dedicated meeting point to assess new products, reconnect with existing contacts, build new relationships and take a closer look at the trends likely to influence the market into 2027.

Registration and further event information are available from the International Running Expo website.
