Swiss sportswear brand On is set to release their latest range of innovative trail running products, the Ultra collection – featuring the all new Cloudultra Pro and Cloudultra 3. This collection pushes the boundaries of trail running performance through extensive expert testing and revolutionary technology.
Available from June 19, the Cloudultra Pro maximises athlete performance over ultra distance races, offering enhanced running economy, energy return and overall comfort with a dual layer Helion HF™ hyper foam midsole and propulsion Speedboard®.
Designed for speed and efficiency, the Cloudultra Pro also features next-generation Missiongrip™. The outsole design underwent thorough analysis using FEA software to determine the optimal lug shape, orientation and density. From over 200 initial options, the software narrowed the selection to a select few, which were then rigorously field-tested. The outcome: our most sophisticated traction system yet.
The Cloudultra 3, launching on July 3, takes inspiration from On’s pinnacle ultra-trail race shoe. The sole features Helion HF™ hyper foam, maximizing energy return and resilience, while providing ample cushioning for ultra-long distances. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, this trail shoe has been developed to blend speed and accessibility, enabling all runners to boost endurance across all levels of experience.
Building on this performance-driven approach, the Ultra collection introduces a selection of apparel engineered to support every aspect of trail running. Designed with lightweight, breathable materials, the range includes the Ultra-T, Ultra Shorts, Ultra Jacket, Ultra Pants, Ultra Vest Pro, Ultra Quiver, Ultra Cap and Merino Ultra Socks – with each piece considered for comfort, function and performance.
The Cloudultra Pro is available from June 19, with the Cloudultra 3, Ultra-T, Ultra Shorts, Ultra Cap, Merino Ultra Socks, Ultra Vest Pro and Ultra Quiver available from July 3. The Ultra Jacket and Ultra Pants are available from August 7.
