Comfort and Smart Features

The Active Max is designed for comfort and has a lightweight build (39.5 g¹). It comes with automated features, making it easier to focus while working out. The smartwatch automatically sets heart rate zones when maximum HR is detected. It warns if the heart is beating too fast, creates running or hiking routes, and starts or pauses exercises automatically². Its 1.5” large display also adjusts brightness automatically (up to 3000 nits). This depends on the workout environment. Comfort is further enhanced by AMOLED technology, providing high contrast and vivid colours. This makes workout data easier to read and more convenient to access.

Training and Recovery Insights

Detailed workout summaries, including post-workout and recovery data, are available on the Active Max. They are also available in the Zepp App. The app shows workout results, accumulated training load and recovery progress. It includes sleep quality and heart rate variability. Additionally, the BioCharge indicator reflects the current energy level. Active Max tracks dozens of parameters, helping users better understand how the body functions.

Maps and Navigation

The smartwatch supports payments³ and thousands of offline maps. These include topographic maps, ski resort maps, and contour maps. It also supports navigation features. Thanks to the rapidly growing Amazfit ecosystem, people who start exercising regularly can also share their progress on external platforms. For example, share on Strava, adidas Running, Google Fit, Health Connect, Komoot, and Relive.

Ecosystem

Active Max has a built-in microphone and speaker. It can also be paired with headphones (e.g., Amazfit UP) and many other Amazfit sports accessories (e.g., Helio Strap, Helio Ring). The watch is compatible with third-party devices as well. Users can download and install hundreds of mini-apps from the Zepp App, including Podcast. This provides access to millions of free audio contents. The smartwatch has 4 GB of storage (four times more than the Amazfit Active 2). This enables listening to podcasts and music without an internet connection.
