British outdoor brand Rab (owned by Equip Outdoor Technologies Ltd.) has announced it is expanding its support for mountain running activities across the globe in 2022. Drawing on 40 years of expertise in crafting high-end outdoor clothing and equipment, this underlines the launch of Rab’s fully updated Skyline trail and mountain running range for Spring/Summer 2022 and shows the brand’s ambitions as a key player in all mountain-related activities.
In its UK home market, Rab is partnering with Lake District Sky Trails, consisting of Scafell Sky Race, Pinnacle Ridge Extreme and Lakes Sky Ultra. With fully marked courses and maximum ascent packed into every race distance, these races are designed to test mountain runners of all abilities to the limits of their skill, endurance and nerves. Furthermore, Rab is supporting the Rab Skiddaw Vertical Run, a mountain running event that will premier at the famous Keswick Mountain Festival.
In the US, Rab continues to support the Cirque Series, consisting of seven challenging mountain runs, with a strong relevance in the international mountain running community. After a successful first year in 2021, Rab is excited to develop this partnership and realise ideas for future activities.
Additionally, Rab is supporting the famous Tromsø Mountain Challenge in Norway for the first time, offering some great contrasts: Mountains and fjords, steep hills and scree slopes, lush green mountains and a great view.
