The Royal Parks Half Marathon has announced that premium alcohol-free lager brand, Kingfisher Zero, will be returning as a sponsor for this year’s race.
Now in its second year of the partnership, the renewal will see Kingfisher Zero return as the official 0% beer for the 2025 event, following last year’s partnership launch.
The announcement follows a significant year of growth for Kingfisher Zero, who have seen a 65% increase in volume sales from last year, which they’ve attributed to the quality and taste of their 0% beer.
The announcement also highlights the success of last year’s partnership, with Kingfisher Zero lager proudly embodying the quality flavour of their beloved lager without compromising on taste and, importantly, brewed with zero alcohol.
This year’s Royal Parks Half Marathon will welcome 16,000 runners, with Kingfisher’s premium alcohol-free lager available to enjoy in the bustling event village in Hyde Park.
Taking place this year on Sunday 12 October 2025, the Royal Parks Half Marathon is considered as one of the UK’s most scenic half marathons, taking runners through four of London’s beautiful Royal Parks, including Hyde Park, The Green Park, St. James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.
Liz Tack, Head of Royal Parks Half Marathon said: “We are delighted to welcome Kingfisher Zero back as a partner for this year’s race. We loved seeing runners and their supporters enjoying their 0% beers in our event village last year.
We can’t wait to experience the incredible atmosphere of this year’s race with the Kingfisher Zero team!”
Andy Sunnucks, Senior Brand Manager for Kingfisher Zero said: “I said last year that we want to encourage consumers to take a step out from the hustle and bustle of our hectic day-to-day lives, engage with the world around them and appreciate the beautiful things life has to offer – I truly believe that no partnership aligns more closely with this ethos than ours with the Royal Parks Half Marathon.
“Partnerships like this have been instrumental in helping us achieve real success last year and we’re so excited to return and help cheer on thousands of amazing runners whilst quenching their thirst with some quality Zero percent beer and offering some amazing prizes to those coming to the event village.”
