RunThrough Announce Vitality as Title Partner of Inaugural Stockport 10K in Multi-Year Agreement

RunThrough has announced Vitality as the title partner of the inaugural Vitality Stockport 10K, forming part of a multi-year agreement between the two organisations.

Taking place on Sunday 19th July 2026, the Vitality Stockport 10K will bring runners to the heart of Stockport for a closed-road race starting and finishing at Edgeley Park, home stadium of Stockport County Football Club and a venue closely associated with Vitality through its existing partnership with the club.

This connection reinforces Vitality’s strong presence in the local Stockport community, further strengthened by the upcoming opening of its new Stockport office. Through its title sponsorship, Vitality will play an active role in bringing the event to life locally, engaging runners, supporters, and the wider community across race day.

The Vitality Stockport 10K, like all RunThrough events, is the ideal race experience for runners of all abilities. The route has a flat elevation profile making it ideal for runners chasing a personal best as well as being the perfect entry point for anyone taking part in their first 10K. The route will be on fully closed road offering participants official chip timing, a unique finishers medal, race goodies and an all round incredible race experience.

Participants will set off from Edgeley Park before heading through the local area, winding through Bramhall Park, and returning via Edgeley and Stockport for a memorable stadium finish in front of the crowd.

The collaboration brings together Vitality and RunThrough’s shared commitment to supporting more people to get active, take on new challenges, and experience the benefits of movement in a supportive run environment.

Jack Williams, CEO of RunThrough, said: “We’re proud to announce Vitality as the title sponsor of the inaugural Vitality Stockport 10K. Their commitment to the local community makes them a fantastic partner for this event, and with the run starting and finishing at Edgeley Park, it already has a strong Stockport identity. We’re excited to work together to create a welcoming, and memorable race day for runners and supporters across the town.”

Nick Read, Chief Vitality Officer, said: “We are delighted to partner with RunThrough as title sponsor of the Vitality Stockport 10K. This event brings together the local community in a way that reflects what Vitality stands for — making movement accessible, enjoyable and part of everyday life, whatever your starting point.

“Stockport is a key location for Vitality, both as a growing hub for our people and as a community where we want to have a meaningful, long-term presence. It’s particularly fitting that this inaugural event takes place on the eve of opening our new office at No.3 Stockport Exchange. The space has been designed with health and wellbeing at its core, and this event is a great example of the kind of community-led initiatives we’re proud to support, helping to encourage more people to get active in a way that works for them.”
