Butcombe Brewing Co has been named as the Official Beer Partner of the Maverick Race Trail Running series. The three-year partnership deal kicked off at the Burley race, in the New Forest.
All participants of Maverick Race’s trail running events will be able to toast their achievements with a non-alcoholic beer at the finishing line with a bottle of Butcombe Brewing Co’s multi award-winning Goram IPA Zero or its newly released Tall Tales Pale Ale Zero.
Bruce Rowland, Marketing Director, Butcombe Group, said: “We are delighted to be working with Maverick Race as its main beer partner. They are a great fit for us both in terms of ideology and geography, with us having pubs in many of the regions where they hold their iconic trail races.
“We are passionate about getting involved with and supporting the communities we serve so this is the perfect way to meet people in some of the most beautiful parts of the UK, and toast their athletic successes with our ever-popular Goram IPA Zero and our brand-new Tall Tales Pale Ale Zero non-alcoholic beers.”
Maverick Race is all about celebrating the beauty of the British countryside, which is why they have chosen to host trail running events in some of the most iconic areas in the UK. Accessible to runners of all levels, Maverick Race’s main objective is to get people off the roads and enjoy being outside in the countryside.
Ben MacWilliam, Co-Founder and CEO, Maverick Race, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that Maverick Race is partnering with Butcombe Brewery. This collaboration brings together our shared passion for community, quality, and unforgettable experiences. We can’t wait to celebrate this partnership with all of you on race days—cheers to an exciting journey ahead!”
