Heart of Kent Hospice is looking forward to welcoming runners for its annual fundraising event, the Maidstone Road Run, on Sunday 3 March 2024.

Tickets are now on sale for this event which has been timed so that it’s the perfect warm up for the spring race season and runners can choose from three distances: a chip timed circular half marathon, a 10K run or a 5K run.   All runners will depart from Cornwallis Academy and will set off in stages.

Take part in Shaun the Sheep’s Family Fun Run. Perfect for our younger runners, the 1k Fun Run takes place on site at Cornwallis Academy. Come in farmyard fancy dress and be in with a chance to win a prize for best costume!

All runners will receive a special finishers medal.

Hospice volunteers and marshals will be on hand along the routes to make sure the event runs smoothly and safely as runners enjoy the routes along country roads around Linton, Boughton Monchelsea and surrounding villages.

Events Manager Maisie Bass said: “We are so excited to welcome runners to take part in one of Heart of Kent Hospice’s most popular and important fundraising events, Maidstone Road Run on 3 March 2024.
