Runna app partners with two major UK running event organisers

Personalised running coaching app www.runna.com has announced new partnerships with LimeLight Sports Club and RunThrough to provide exclusive race day support across some of the UK’s top running events, including the Hackney Half, Surrey Half Marathon, Alton Towers Running festival and ASICS London 10K.

As LimeLight Sports Club and RunThrough’s official training provider, Runna’s expert coaching team, which features British Olympic marathon runner Stephanie Davis, will provide personalised running coaching plans which are bespoke to every runner’s journey on race days.

LimeLight Sports Club produces seven multisport and running event experiences throughout the year: Hackney Moves Festival, London Duathlon, ASICS London 10K, London Triathlon, Blenheim Palace Triathlon, Oxford Half and Etape Caledonia. RunThrough Events are a UK-based running community with over 150,000 runners taking part in over 200 events per year.

Runna, which recently raised £1.9 million in its latest investment round, was founded by best friends Ben Parker and Dom Maskell with three objectives: disrupt the running coaching industry, change the way people train and share their love of running. Runna’s app currently syncs with Apple, COROS and Garmin watches and is available to download for free via the Apple Store and Google Play.

Ben Parker, Head Coach at www.runna.com, said: “These partnerships are a brilliant step forward for Runna as we become more and more embedded in the running community. As the official training provider for LimeLight Sports Club and RunThrough, we have the amazing opportunity to offer exclusive support to runners of all varieties on race day. Runna was founded from a love of running, so the opportunity to meet more people with the same passion is really exciting for us.”
