Royal Parks Half Marathon announces Kingfisher Zero partnership

The Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada, has announced that premium alcohol-free lager brand, Kingfisher Zero, will be a sponsor for this year’s race.

Taking place this year on Sunday 13 October 2024, the Royal Parks Half Marathon is considered as one of the UK’s most scenic half marathons, taking runners through four of London’s beautiful Royal Parks, including Hyde Park, The Green Park, St. James’s Park and Kensington Gardens.

As part of the partnership, team Kingfisher Zero will be playing a key role in cheering on runners on the day, while their recently launched, premium alcohol-free lager will be available to enjoy in the bustling event village in stunning Hyde Park.

The recently introduced Kingfisher Zero lager proudly embodies the quality flavour of their beloved lager without compromising on taste and, importantly, brewed with zero alcohol. The partnership is a first for the Royal Parks Half and will help quench the thirsts of both runners and their supporters.

Liz Tack, Head of Royal Parks Half Marathon said: “We are absolutely delighted to partner up with Kingfisher Zero for this year’s race. We know how rewarding it is for participants to run our Half Marathon, but thousands of people also come down to support, so it’s great that we can offer both runners and spectators a well-earned, premium alcohol-free beer come the day.”

Andy Sunnucks, Senior Brand Manager for Kingfisher Zero, said: “As a brand, we encourage consumers to take a step out from the hustle and bustle of our hectic day-to-day, engage with the world around them and appreciate the beautiful things life has to offer. What better partnership to align with our ethos than the Royal Parks Half Marathon? We’re thoroughly looking forward to cheering on the runners and quenching the thirsts of spectators with our newly launched alcohol-free lager.”
