RunThrough has announced Nike and SportsShoes.com as lead sponsors of the 2025 Altrincham 10K, taking place on Sunday 7th September. The ‘Nike Altrincham 10K Presented by SportsShoes.com’ will welcome 3,500 runners to a scenic, closed-road course in the historic town centre.
This partnership puts Nike at the heart of Altrincham’s running community. Alongside SportsShoes.com, Nike will showcase its latest Road Running line-up – including the newest max cushioning shoe, the Vomero Plus, the responsive Pegasus, and the supportive Structure—giving runners a chance to experience Nike’s running footwear innovation up close.
Race day will also feature SportsShoes.com and Nike ambassadors, including North West native and GB triathlete Katie Halligan, ultra-runner and Hits Radio presenter Hattie Pearson, and Manchester-based artist Emma Evans. These inspiring women embody Nike and RunThrough’s shared mission to empower more women to step into the running community.
Matt Wood, Co-Founder of RunThrough, said: “Welcoming Nike as title sponsor of the Altrincham 10K, alongside our long-standing partner SportsShoes.com, is a huge milestone for the event. This partnership highlights the growth of our community and the strength of our brand.
