RunThrough is bringing a brand-new community race to the town centre this weekend with the launch of the Hemel Hempstead 10K, taking place on Sunday 18th May 2025. a community-focused road race set to become a local highlight in the town’s sporting calendar.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Hemel Hempstead 10K to life in such a vibrant and welcoming town,” said Matt Wood, Co-founder of RunThrough. “This event isn’t just about running, it’s about uniting the community, celebrating local spaces, and supporting a cause that’s close to many hearts.”
To give participants and the public a preview of what to expect, RunThrough have released a behind-the-scenes video highlighting the course layout, event day experience, and charitable impact. The event village will be based at the Riverside Shopping Centre, where runners will begin and end their 10K journey. From the bustling town centre to the peaceful paths of Gadebridge Park, this fully closed-road 10K route offers runners a scenic and spirited race day.
