The 22nd edition of the HOKA UTMB®
Compressport is thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of their most significant racing week of the year at UTMB Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, the renowned pinnacle of trail running. This year’s event was particularly remarkable, with outstanding achievements from Compressport athletes across all races of the week.
Adding to the excitement, the UK achieved a remarkable 1st and 3rd place in the main race. Beyond this impressive feat, Compressport athletes showcased their dedication and skill in every race. The entire team, from athletes to staff, excelled throughout numerous activations and races, proudly representing the brand on this prestigious stage.
Earlier in the week, Compressport had the honor of hosting its Youth Trail Team at the MCC, ETC, and YCC races. This experience was enriching for both the young athletes and the entire team, featuring remarkable performances that offer a promising glimpse into the future of the sport.
In the challenging TDS race, Diego Pazos displayed incredible resilience, overcoming difficulties to finish in 12th place.
The OCC race, the first of the UTMB finals, saw Rosa Lara deliver an exceptional performance, improving upon her 2024 result with a strong 7th place finish despite wet conditions and a modified route. The week’s main event was marked by a dramatic shift in weather, bringing rain, snow, and cold temperatures. Nevertheless, the Compressport men persevered. Thibaut Garrivier delivered a huge performance, securing 5th place and the title of best Frenchman, followed by Compressport legend Ludo Pommeret in 6th place. Aurelien Dunand-Pallaz and Helio Fumo battled through the challenging elements to bravely cross the finish line in 20th and 60th place, respectively.
A special acknowledgment goes to Compressport CEO, Yann, for successfully completing the MCC race.
Simultaneously, Compressport athletes were also competing on the French Riviera at the inaugural T100 Fréjus, where five of the company’s triathletes took to the starting line.
