Thousands of runners descended on Warwickshire over the weekend as Wolf Run marked its 15th anniversary with a special edition of Autumn Wolf, celebrating the event’s journey from a grassroots challenge to one of the UK’s most established wild obstacle running experiences.
Held at Offchurch Bury on 12-13 September, thousands of participants from across the UK tackled mud, water, woodland trails and more than 30 obstacles as part of the milestone event, which brought together longtime Wolf runners, first-time participants and local families.
The anniversary weekend featured special celebrations recognising 15 years of Wolf Run, with runners taking part across the event’s 10k, 5k and Junior Wolf formats.
Founded in Warwickshire by Charlie Moreton, Wolf Run has welcomed tens of thousands of participants since launching in 2011, while remaining true to its original ethos of adventure, teamwork and getting people outdoors.
Alongside the action on course, supporters packed the event village throughout the weekend, enjoying food and drink, entertainment and family activities, helping create a festival atmosphere that has become synonymous with the Wolf Run experience.
With the anniversary celebrations now complete, organisers have also announced a refreshed format for the 2027 season, bringing the Wolf Run calendar together into two flagship weekends at Stanford Hall in Leicestershire and Offchurch Bury in Warwickshire.
The new approach will allow Wolf Run to focus its investment on creating bigger and better event experiences, including expanded event village activities, camping for runners and their families, increased capacity, free parking and an enhanced festival atmosphere throughout each weekend.

Seeing thousands of people come together at Offchurch Bury, whether they were taking on their first Wolf Run or returning for another challenge, was incredibly special.
“We’re immensely proud of what we’ve built, but we’re equally excited about what’s ahead. As we move into 2027, we’re investing in the areas that make Wolf Run unique and creating even more memorable experiences for our community both on and off the course.”
Tickets for the 2027 Wolf Run season are now on sale, with participants able to secure places at both Summer Wolf and Autumn Wolf events.
