Ciele Athletics Introduces its 2026 Cold Weather Collection

A considered range of technical apparel, headwear and accessories built for winter training

MONTREAL (October 8, 2026) — Ciele Athletics, the performance running brand from Montreal, Canada, proudly introduces its Cold Weather Collection for the 2026-27 season, with updated styles and new colorways across its returning lineup of technical apparel, headwear and accessories. The lineup of apparel, headwear and accessories is designed to keep runners equipped as temperatures drop and daylight fades, combining technical fabrics, natural-fiber insulation and versatile layers for winter training.

At the core of the collection are Ciele’s proprietary COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece™ and COOLmatic | EXP DIAMAfleece lite™ fabrics, engineered with an open diamond-grid construction and embedded carbon yarns to help regulate temperature, manage moisture and control odor. DIAMAfleece™ offers a higher pile for added insulation, while DIAMAfleece lite™ offers a lighter, more breathable alternative for high-output efforts and versatile layering.

The collection also incorporates Sorino™ fabrics, which bring the natural performance properties of merino wool to cold-weather apparel and accessories. Sorino | WS pairs merino wool with silk, while Sorino | WCM combines merino wool and cashmere. Both blends offer temperature regulation and breathability, with added softness for comfort.

For the 2026-27 season, the men’s and women’s apparel lineup returns with refreshed colorways and updates to key cold-weather layers, from lightweight base layers to insulated protection:

IBTHoody: A lightweight layer with an integrated balaclava hood for added coverage.

IBTLongsleeve: A breathable base layer with an updated fit for comfortable, easy layering.

VLVInsulator: An insulated outer layer with a recycled shell and wool and silk insulation for added warmth.

VLVHalfzip: A versatile midlayer with a two-way zip and built-in storage.

The apparel range is complemented by cold-weather headwear and accessories, including beanies, insulated versions of Ciele’s GOCap and FSTCap, and neck collars. Reflective details provide added visibility in low-light conditions.

Founded in Montréal, Ciele Athletics understands the demands that cold weather places on runners and their gear. The brand’s technical approach is paired with a considered focus on materials and construction, reflecting its ongoing commitment as a B Corp-certified company to more responsible product development.

“The hardest part of winter running is getting out the door,” shares Ciele Athletics Co-Founder Jeremy Bresnen. “The first 10 minutes suck, every time. We know it well in Montreal. Gear won’t make you want to run, but it takes away the excuse. We built what we needed to keep moving until spring.”

The Ciele Athletics Cold Weather Collection is now available purchase via CieleAthletics.com, at Ciele’s flagship store, espace | MTL (1630 R. Notre Dame O, Montréal, QC H3J 1M1, Canada), and at select retailers globally.
