Across the event, PUMA athletes won a total of 21 medals, capping an incredible Diamond League season.
The action got off to a flying start on Friday night, as Tayjay Gayle claimed gold in the men’s long jump, jumping 8.46m to secure his second Diamond League title.
Emmanouil Karalis continued the record setting performances in the men’s pole vault, clearing 6.12m to set a new Meeting Record. Julien Alfred captured her third consecutive Diamond League title, winning the 200m in 21.79 seconds.
The final day saw Andy Díaz Hernandez set a new meeting record in the men’s triple jump with a mark of 17.74m, while Audrey Werro claimed victory in the women’s 800m in 1:54.75. Finishing just 0.06 seconds ahead of her closest rival, Werro secured her second consecutive Diamond League victory.
With the Diamond League season complete, PUMA athletes now turn their attention to the World Athletics Ultimate Championships in Budapest from 11–13 September.
