Destination Sport Experiences takes athletes to participate in the best cycling, running and triathlon events all over the world.
For 2024 Destination Sport Experiences launches a programme of training camps at seven top sports resorts to help them prepare in the perfect environment. These work perfectly either as a family holiday incorporating a training programme while the rest of the family relaxes, or as a group trip for a cycling, running or tri club with training sessions provided by professional coaches.
World-class sports resorts in Mallorca, Sardinia, Slovakia, Tenerife, Thailand and Turkey have been hand-picked by the team, as offering the very best facilities for the active holiday. And for the keen runner, is the England Athletics Spring Training Camp, set on the beautiful Portuguese coast, hosted by top coaches from England Athletics.
On rest days, activities (depending on the resort) include swimming, hydrotherapy or thalassotherapy pools, massage therapies, hammam, jacuzzi and sauna, or strength and conditioning in a high-quality gym.
Athletes can either put together their own training schedules or Destination Sport Experiences will create a bespoke long weekend or week-long programme that can include coaching, guided rides and runs and other sports depending on the resort. The 2024 sports resorts in full are:
